To approve the grant of Unit 2 Castle Car
Park, Sydenham Road, GU1 3RW in line with the following terms and
conditions:
The rent will be £15,000 with a rent-free period of 2 months,
which in accordance with the Council’s General Disposal
Consent powers, provides the ‘best consideration reasonably
obtainable’ where the proposed term exceeds seven (7)
years.
The agreed term is 13 years.
The rent will be payable monthly in advance and subject to 5 yearly
rent reviews.
The tenant is also granted a tenant only break option on the 5th
anniversary of term, upon service of 6 month written notice in
advance.
A rent deposit equivalent to 6 months rent plus sum equivalent to
VAT is to be obtained.
