GBC ran an open market tender
for the SANG works associated with the WUV development, which
comprise the following works:

Creation of new footpath and cycleway to create the
walking route for SANG purposes
·       
New car park, access and pedestrian crossing to link
northern and southern sections of the SANG
·       
New footbridge to accommodate circular walking route
over the River Wey
·       
Improvements to the existing bridge
·       
Creation of wintering bird scrape
·       
Landscaping and tree planting to create biodiversity
and SANG enhancements
 
Three compliant returns were
received. Blakedown were the winners of
the bid across a combined technical, commercial and legal
evaluation.
 
The total value requested for
this DA is £2,352,348.
