To approve the grant of the lease of a shed on
land adjoining the cricket pavilion at Sutherland Memorial Park,
Burpham Lane, Guildford, as soon as possible, in line with the
following terms and conditions:

For the grant of a new lease to both Burpham Juniors Football Club
and Burpham Football Club, the rent will be £542.50 pa
(£35 per square metre), which in accordance with the
Council’s General Disposal Consent powers, provides the
‘best consideration reasonably obtainable’ where the
proposed term exceeds seven (7) years.

The agreed term is for 10 years with a mutual rolling option to
break after 5 years on giving 6 months prior written notice.

The rent will be payable annually in advance and subject to an
upwards only rent review at the mid-term with reference to the
Retail Price Index.
Burpham Juniors Football Club will pay £406.87 pa and Burpham
Football Club will pay £135.63 pa.

Our legal fees will be met by the 2 clubs jointly.
