RESOLVED:
 
1. 
The Gambling Statement (“the Statement”) at
Appendix 1 was considered and the proposed Statement was
recommended to Full Council for approval.
 
2. 
The report on the consultation at Appendix 2 was
noted.
 
REASONS FOR DECISION
 
The Council must publish a statement of
principles (“the Statement”) which it proposes to apply
when carrying out its licensing functions under the Gambling Act
2005.
 
DETAILS OF ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS CONSIDERED AND
REJECTED
 
There is a statutory requirement to publish a
statement under the Gambling Act 2005. Therefore, there were no
alternative options considered.
