RESOLVED:
 
The Dalston Plan Supplementary Planning Document
(Appendix 1) was adopted.
 
REASONS FOR DECISION
 
The Dalston Plan
is an area-based planning document that will set the LP33 planning
policies within a Dalston context and
contribute towards delivering the Borough-wide growth strategy set
out in LP33.
 
DETAILS OF ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS CONSIDERED AND
REJECTED
 
The alternative is not to produce a
Dalston Plan with planning and
regeneration guidance for Dalston and
rely on the adopted borough-wide Local Plan policies. This has been
rejected as the Dalston Plan is
considered an essential tool to support implementation of planning
policies and positively shape future change in Dalston.
