RESOLVED:
 
1. 
To change the name of the Rhodes Estate, in Dalston to
‘Dalston Gardens Estate’ and proceed with replacing all
estate signs that reference ‘Rhodes’.
 
2. 
To change the name of the estate’s community hall, currently
managed by the estate’s Tenants and Residents Association
(TRA), from Rhodes Estate Community Hall to ‘Dalston Gardens
Community Hall’; and register the hall with a new postal
address (replacing hall name with a unit number and street).
 
3. 
To install an interpretive plaque explaining the name change, in
the context of the Council’s Review, Rename and Reclaim
programme, and the residents’ participation that mandated the
change and name selection.
