Purpose
Cabinet is asked to approve the
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and Alternative
Provision (SENDAP) Strategy 2026-2030. The strategy has been
coproduced with Children and Young people, Parents and Carers,
SENCOS and School Leaders, and professionals and officers from
across the local area partnership. Having an up to date strategy is
a statutory requirement in the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and the
Children and Families Act (2014) and our current strategy expires
at the end of 2025.

RESOLVED:
3.1. Cabinet is recommended to
approve the SEND and Inclusion 3 Year Strategy as set out in
Appendix 2, allowing it to be published in January 2026.
