management and control of the Council's
finances

RESOLVED:
 
3.1  The overall
financial position of the Council as at December 2025 in particular
the overspend and the initiatives set out to mitigate this, was
noted.
 
3.2  Approval for the
Council to enter into a Section 75 Partnership Agreement with the
Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation
Trust to support transformation initiatives in City and
Hackney.
 
3.3  Authority was
delegated to the Group Director of Finance and Corporate Resources
to disburse the funding in accordance with the Section 7 agreement
in conjunction with the Group Director Children &
Education.

To facilitate financial management and control
of the Council's finances.
 
To create an agreement for further
integration with our key health partner in the
borough and facilitate the transfer of funds
to the London Borough of Hackney via a Section 75 agreement to
support transformation activities which align with the strategic
priorities of the City and Hackney Place Based Partnership.
