  1. 3.1That the scheme for Children and Education Directorate as set out in section 11 of the report be given approval as follows:

Woodberry Down Primary School Emergency Kitchen works: Resource and spend approval for an additional £1,000k in 2026/27 is requested to facilitate the refurbishment 

Linden Children’s Centre Replacement Safety Groundworks and Canopy: Resource and spend approval for £100k in 2026/27 is requested to deliver additional capital works at Linden Children Centre following a canopy collapse.

Following public engagement regarding the disposals and subsequent review by the Cabinet since the report's publication, it has been decided to reject recommendations 3.4 to 3.7. Furthermore, Cabinet will establish an equitable, time-limited process to evaluate credible, community-led alternatives that address the financial pressures faced by the Council.
