Purpose
This report covers a range of decisions required to complete construction of the Civic Campus Project.
Decision
That the Cabinet Member for the Economy:
- Notes Appendix 1 is not for publication on the basis that it contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) as set out in paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).
- Delegates to the Executive Director of Place, in consultation with the Executive Director for Finance and Director for Legal Services, to modify Contract A to enable the council to pay sub-contractors directly, if required.
- Delegates to the Executive Director of Place in consultation with the Director of Legal Services and Executive Director of Finance to negotiate and finalise any legal documents necessary to able to effect to recommendations 2 and make the necessary payments
- Notes that some of the paid for under direct payment arrangements will include works under Contract B ‘the Glass Box’ and the Council will seek reimbursement for these works from the WKSR LLP.
