In accordance with delegated authority given
to the Director of Hampshire 2050 by the Leader and Executive
Member for Hampshire 2050 and Corporate Services acting for
Hampshire County Council in its capacity of sole trustee of the
Allen and Curtis Museum Foundation (the Foundation) at his decision
meeting on the 10 February 2025, the Director of Hampshire 2050
makes the following
decision for Hampshire County Council acting in its capacity of
sole trustee of the Foundation:
1. Approves Hampshire County Council as sole trustee of the
Foundation granting a lease of the Allen Gallery to Hampshire
Cultural Trust, in accordance with the agreed Heads of Terms
attached in Appendix A.
2. Approves Hampshire County Council as sole trustee of the
Foundation entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with the
Trustees of the National Heritage Memorial Fund (National Lottery
Heritage Fund), in
accordance with the principles outlined in this report (Section
20).
3. Approves the amendment of the Deed of Delegation entered into
between Hampshire County Council (as sole trustee of the
Foundation) and Hampshire Cultural Trust in 2014 in accordance with
the changes set out in Section 21.
4. Approves the determination of the licence granted to the Trust
in respect of the Allen Gallery.
