That an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order
be made permanent under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(RTRA), the effects of which will be to cause traffic to travel in
a southerly direction in that length of B3049
Clifton Terrace between its junction with Alison Way and its
junction with B3040 Romsey Road and prohibit motor vehicles from
making right or left turn manoeuvres as specified in the schedule
below:
Schedule:
(i) B3040 Romsey Road, left or right into B3049 Clifton
Terrace
(ii) B3049 Clifton Terrace, left into B3040 Romsey Road
(iii) B3049 Clifton Terrace, left or right into U374 Clifton
Hill
These restrictions are to be put in place to support a signalised
Puffin pedestrian crossing on B3040 Romsey Road to encourage
pedestrian use along this route.
