1. That the Director of Universal Services
approves the Project Appraisal for the Morelands Primary School
Shared Route scheme, designed for the use of both
pedestrians and cyclists, as specified in this report.
2. That the Director of Universal Services gives approval to
procure, spend and enter into necessary contractual arrangements,
in consultation with the Head of Legal Services, to implement this
scheme, at a total estimated cost of £183,000, to be funded
from a combination of a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) from
Havant Borough Council, the Safer Routes to School/Local
Highways & Transport Fund (LHTF), and Developer
Contributions.
3. That the Director of Universal Services and the Head of Legal
Services shall advance orders, notices, statutory procedures, and
secure and enter into all appropriate agreements, licences,
consents, permissions, rights or easements required for the
successful implementation of the scheme.
