The purpose of this report is to seek approval
to award allocations from the ring-fenced, Community Hubs Household
Support Fund budget. These allocations total £61,301 and are
for Library, Community Hub and Best Start Hub based schemes and
will significantly extend and develop its community offer and cost
of living support services in line with the intentions as set out
in the Executive Lead Member Decision Report.
The report also seeks approval for the award of grants totalling
£700 to deliver support as part of Hampshire County
Council’s share of the Household Support Fund. The £700
funding is for crisis grants to complement other support within the
Fund for households most in need of immediate support.
