To temporarily close Petersfield Library to
general visitors from 13/04/26 to 26/04/26 to enable essential
electrical work to be completed.

Following the routine electrical survey carried out in 2023, a
number of defects were identified which need to be rectified to
ensure the electrical supply is secured for future use.

A closure is required as this work requires the complete shutdown
of power throughout the building.

The contractors have advised that the work is likely to take up to
2 weeks. During this time the building will not be accessible for
staff, partners or customers
