That a traffic order be implemented under the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA), the effects of which Will
be to replace a section of 50mph road on A30 Winchester Road in
Basingstoke near the new Hounsome Fields Development with a 40mph
speed limit as outlined in the following schedule:

40 mph Speed Limit
A30 Winchester Road between and a point 60m south-west of its
roundabout junction (i.e. Hounsome Fields roundabout) with Hounsome
Drive (including all roads comprising Hounsome Drive Roundabout),
and a point 15m south west of its roundabout junction (i.e. Hatch
Warren roundabout) with Wallop Drive, an approximate distance of
1,217 metres.
