That a traffic order be implemented under the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984), the effects of which
will be to impose a 40mph speed limit (Existing 50mph) on the
following lengths of A27 in Segensworth:
(i) That length of A27 Southampton Road between its junction with
Segensworth Roundabout and a point 260 metres south thereof.
(ii) A27/M27 Junction 9 roundabout for its entire length, an
approximate distance of 560 metres.
(iii) A27 Segensworth Link Road, between its junction with M27 at
Junction 9 and its roundabout junction with A27 Southampton Road,
an approximate distance of 530 metres.
(iv) A27 Southampton Road, between a point 90 metres south-east of
its roundabout junction with Telford Way and its roundabout
junction with A27 Segensworth Link Road (including the circulatory
carriageway of the roundabout), an approximate distance of 800
metres.
