That the Director of Hampshire 2050, having
consulted with the Leader and Executive Member for Hampshire 2050
and Corporate Services, the Director of Universal Services,
Director of Corporate Operations and the Head of Legal
Services:
- approves the detailed business case for the future management and
operational transfer of the Great Hall from Hampshire County
Council to Hampshire Cultural Trust (the Trust), as set out in the
exempt report and
appendix to this decision record.
- approves property arrangements by which the management and
operational responsibility for the Great Hall is transferred to the
Trust.
- authorises the Assistant Director for Regeneration and Growth
(Culture, Communities and Strategic Programmes) to progress
negotiations with the Trust on detailed terms of the required
agreements which will be
subject to a further delegated decision prior to concluding all
matters.
