Purpose

To consider a report of the Director of
Universal Services regarding the challenges facing the highways
maintenance service and the proposed strategy for the Safer Roads
Today campaign, which has been developed to address the increased
deterioration in the condition of the highway network due to the
severe weather experienced during the 2022/23 winter season.
