1. That the Director of Children’s Services approves grants to the value of £44,000 from the Wraparound Childcare Programme fund to support the sustainability of wraparound childcare provision. These applications have been assessed by the grant evaluation panel and meet the funding criteria. This grant allocation will sustain wraparound provision for 40 full wraparound childcare places.
1.2. In recognition of the specific challenges experienced by new schools at this stage of the programme, it is recommended that a second year of funding (£22,000) be provided to new schools that opened in September 2025.
