Decision

That a traffic order be implemented under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA), the effects of which will be:
(i) To implement a 40mph speed limit (previously 50mph) on B3016 Odiham Road at Phoenix Green between its junction with the A30 London Road and a point 2,190 metres south thereof.
(ii) Implement a 50mph speed limit (previously National Speed Limit) on B3016 Odiham Road between a point 2,190 metres south of its junction with A30 London Road and its junction with A287 Farnham Road, an approximate distance of 2,390 metres.
This order will revoke and re-instate ‘The Hampshire (Various Roads, Hartley Wintney to Hook) (Restricted Road, 30, 40 and 50 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2016’ with no change of substance, save for the 40 and 50 miles per hour limits, described above, and the revocation of schedule I restricted roads from the original 2016 order. However, these restricted roads contained within schedule I will remain by virtue of section 82(1)(a) of the Act, 30 miles per hour with no requirement for an Order.
