That a traffic order be implemented under the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA), the effects of which will
be to impose 40 and 50 miles per hour speed limits at Alresford as
follows:
40 mph
(i)
Link road no.3 (currently unnamed) – between its junction
with Whitehill Lane and a point 12 metres north thereof.
(ii)
Whitehill Lane – between a point 64 metres west of its
junction with Appledown Lane and its junction with the B3047
Bishops Sutton Road, an approximate distance of 1330 metres.
50 mph
(i)
A31 Alresford Road between a point 170 metres west of its
roundabout junction with the unnamed link road no. 1 and a point
337 metres east of that point (including the roundabout
gyratory).
(ii)
Link road no.1 (currently unnamed) between its junction with the
A31 Alresford Road roundabout and a point 43 metres north
thereof.
