Decision

RESOLVED
that Chas Berger Ltd (Company
Registration No 0359611) be awarded a Call-off Contract in the sum
of £978,250.86 to deliver the services described in the
report in accordance with the terms of the Pretium Framework for
Fire Safety Works, Schedule 5 Lot 10, using the direct award
procedure.

Reasons for the decision

It was determined due to a
Fire Safety and
Risk Assessment report that works were required, and upon survey
further works to maintain the block to good standard in accordance
with Fire Safety and Risk Assessment - Regulatory Reform (Fire
Safety) Order. The economies of scale indicate that carrying out
these works is the most cost effective to the Council.
