Decision

RESOLVED
that the Council enter
into a JCT Minor Works Contract with TK Elevator UK Limited
for the supply and installation of two new escalators within the
Harvey Centre up to a maximum contract sum of
£448,060.00.

Reasons for the decision

To deliver the Building
Harlow’s Future mission to ‘Rebuild our town’ and
the specific outcome to ‘Invest in the Harvey
Centre’.

Alternative options considered

Due to the agreed Heads of
Terms and subsequent lease, no alternative options were considered
as the option to replace the existing escalators is the only viable
option.
