The Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel reviews decisions, plans, and services for children and young people in Hounslow, covering education, training, and health and social care. It acts as a critical friend to service providers to help improve provision.
This panel includes statutory representatives from outside the council, such as parent governors and faith representatives, and co-opted members from the Youth Council to ensure diverse perspectives are considered.
