Resolved: 
That Borough Council agreed the following recommendations made by
Cabinet at the meeting on 11 February 2025: 
 
a) noted the summary of responses to
consultation and the equalities impact assessment attached at
appendices A and B of the Cabinet report respectively;
 
b) agreed to adopt the revised Council Tax
Support Scheme attached as Appendix C of the Cabinet report for the
financial year 25/26, subject to any minor drafting the amendments
which the Executive Director of Finance and Resources considers it
prudent and appropriate to make; and
 
c) agreed to adopt a transitional hardship
policy, substantially in the form attached as appendix D of the
Cabinet report, that £1.5m be set aside for that purpose and
to delegate to the Executive Director of Finance and Resources the
authority to finalise the detail and implementation of that
policy.
