Cabinet approved the allocation of a capital budget of
£9.124k to be funded from general fund capital programme
unallocated budget, for the procurement of Refuse Collections
Vehicles over a three-year period; and commencement of the
procurement exercise.

Cabinet delegated authority to the Director ICP & Commissioning
in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Infrastructure,
Recycling and Transformation; to award the associated contracts and
entering into necessary legal
documentation.

Cabinet noted that Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO-biofuel) would
be introduced and used to fuel the proposed new Recycle Collection
Vehicles.
