Purpose

Two combined
hackney carriage/private hire drivers failed to provide the Council
with an up-to-date DBS disclosure. Drivers are required to have an
up-to-date DBS in order to hold a licence.

Decision

In accordance with legislation, guidance and
Council policy the drivers’ licences have been suspended.
 
The Chair of Licensing and Regulatory
Committee has been consulted.
 
No alternative options were considered.
