Purpose

An open procurement process using Suffolk e-sourcing was completed for the services of a contractor to provide High Level Gutter Cleaning to the Councils General Needs (3 & 4 storey) flats. 

The contract has been procured over 29 months (3 autumn cycles). Seventeen tenders were returned and evaluated. The overall tender was evaluated on selection criteria of 60% price and 40% quality, and the

successful contractors bid was £67,542.81.

The successful contractor (Clearview) provided the most advantageous tender and was able to demonstrate they had the technical experience to provide the necessary works.

Decision

To award Clearview the contract.

Reason:

To provide High Level Gutter Cleaning to the Councils General Needs (3 & 4 storey) flats.
