Purpose

Ellenbrook Play Area has been identified in the Play Area Investment and Action Plan to be redeveloped to enable inclusive play.

To enable the development of the play area the existing play equipment needs to be removed, and the new safety surfacing installed.

Decision

Ellenbrook Play Area will be temporarily closed to enable the creation of a new play area as part of the Play Area Strategy 2022-2027. The play area construction is expected to be completed by early October 2026.
