Purpose

Ipswich Borough Council has a contract with
Make Space Landscape Architecture Ltd to provide landscape
architectural services for the Greener Ipswich Project. The
Contract value was awarded at a value of £67,957.70.
 
As the project has progressed it has been
identified that additional surveys are now required which were not
included within the contract.
 
A decision has therefore been made to agree a
Variation with Make Space Landscape Architecture Ltd to provide the
additional surveys at a cost of £17,030.
 
There are sufficient funds available within
existing agreed capital budgets.

Decision

The Council has taken the decision to vary the
existing contract value by £17,030 from £67,957.70 to
£84,987.70.
The other terms and conditions within the
contract remain unchanged.
 
Reason:
To enable the necessary surveys to be
undertaken without delay so the design phase of the project can
continue.
