Purpose

Ipswich Borough Council needs to appoint a
Quantity Surveying consultant to deliver pre and post contract
quantity surveying services on the Lloyds public realm project.
 
Following an open tendering process, the cost
for associated services as offered by the successful bidder, Daniel
Connal LLP was £10,665.00 (excl.
VAT) based on the current scheme and proposed delivery period
for the project.
 
The cost of the QS appointment will be fully
covered by funding that has already been secured by Ipswich Borough
Council, forming part of the funding awarded by the Towns Fund.

Decision

To award the QS services to Daniel
Connal LLP.
 
Reason:
To enable the associated services to
proceed.
