Purpose

Ipswich Borough Council needs to appoint a
Clerk of Works consultant to oversee the quality of services being
delivered on site by the Main Contractor on the Lloyds public realm
project.
 
Following an open tender process the winning
bid was provided by Ingleton Wood Ltd at £19,345 (excl. VAT)
based on the current scheme and proposed delivery period for the
project.
 
The cost of the clerk of works appointment
will be fully covered by funding that has already been secured by
Ipswich Borough Council, forming part of the funding awarded by the
Towns Fund.

Decision

To award the clerk of works services to
Ingleton Wood Ltd.
 
Reason:
To enable the associated services to
proceed.
