Purpose

Ipswich Borough Council needs to appoint a
lead multidiscipline consultant to develop and oversee the design
and administration of the Lloyds public realm project.
 
Following an open tender procurement process
through the Suffolk Sourcing e-sourcing system, 4 bids were
received.
 
The cost for associated services as offered by
the successful bidder, KLH Architects Ltd was £96,900 (excl.
VAT).
 
The cost of the lead multidiscipline
appointment will be fully covered by funding that has already been
secured by Ipswich Borough Council, forming part of the allocation
awarded by the Towns Fund.
 
The contract has been placed and issued under
contract number IP0024 1477.

Decision

To award the lead multidiscipline design
services to KLH Architects Ltd.
 
Reason:
To enable the associated services to
proceed.
