Purpose

Ipswich Borough Council has a Leisure
Management System that manages the membership, bookings and payment
system across all the facilities. Following a competitive
procurement process Leisure Management System was awarded the
contract with the total contract cost of £85,793, effective
from 01/10/2020 on a 3-year contract with the option for 1 extra

The cost of utilising the 1-year extension
will be an additional £27,000 and allows the contract to
continue to 30 September 2024, over which time the Council will
undertake a review and further procurement.

Decision

To extend the current contract with Xn Leisure
for 1 year effective from 07/01/24.
The decision is to extend the current contract
value by £27,000 taking it to £137,793.
 
Reason:
The Council requires a leisure management
system to operate Sport and Leisure Facilities and associated
business administration functions. Utilising the option to extend
by one year will allow for a review of the service needs and
procurement whilst maintaining continuity of service provision.
