Purpose

As part of its fleet replacement programme the
council needs to replace a vehicle, LJ15AUN which is now beyond
economical repair.
 
Using an open quote process, through CCS
terms, the Council can purchase a new, meeting its
specification.
 
The total cost would be £41,174.02 + VAT
+ £320 Road Fund licence and £55 vehicle registration
fee. Cost of the vehicle is inclusive of delivery.

Decision

To purchase a through CSS Framework RM6244
(Purchase of Standard and Specialist Vehicles) a new, Renault
Master, Red edition 3.5T tipper with self-weighting system and cage
fitted at a cost of £41,174.02 + VAT + £320 Road Fund
licence and £55 vehicle registration fee.
 
Reason:
To replace the vehicle that is beyond repair
as part of the fleet replacement programme.
