Purpose

As part of its fleet replacement programme the
council needs to replace two L2H2 vans, AV61RKA and AV61TGN.
 
Using an open quote process, through CCS
terms, the Council has identified 2 New, Renault Master, Red
edition vans that meet our specification.
 
The total cost of the new vans is
£73,756.14 + VAT + £640 Road Fund licence for both
vehicles and £110 vehicle registration fee. Cost of the
vehicles is inclusive of delivery.

Decision

To purchase through CSS Framework RM6244
(Purchase of Standard and Specialist Vehicles) 2 New, Renault
Master, Red edition vans fitted with a reduced spec WURTH racking
system for use by painters at a cost of £73,756.14 + VAT +
£640 Road Fund licence for both vehicles.
 
Reason:
To replace 2 vans as part of the fleet
replacement programme for the use by painters.
