Purpose

The vending contract is required to ensure
there is provision for refreshments at the sports facilities and Ip
City Centre.
 
The current vending contract expires in July
2023, therefore a procurement was issued in April 2023 to source a
new supplier.
 
An invitation to quotation procurement process
received 3 bids for the contract in total. Following evaluation of
the bids, the decision was made by officers to award the contract
to Cafepoint LLP on a term of 3 + 1 + 1 years.

Decision

To award the vending services contract to
Cafepoint LLP.
 
Reason:
To ensure vending products remain available to
purchase by customers using sports centres and Ip City Centre.
