Purpose

A procurement process using Suffolk e-sourcing
was completed for the services of a contractor to complete fire
reinstatement works at Cemetery Road, Ipswich.
 
The works are required following a fire at the
property on Cemetery Road.
 
The successful contractor (Mixbrow
Construction) bid was £23,927.30.
 
The tender was evaluated on 60% price and 40%
quality.
 
On completion of the tendering process the
successful contractor provided the most advantageous tender
submission to the Council.

Decision

To appoint the contract to Mixbrow
Construction.
 
Reason:
To complete the necessary fire reinstatement
works.
