Purpose

The Council has a requirement to purchase a
medium articulated sweeper. Officers have used an open quote
process, through CCS terms, and identified a Scarab MC110 which is
an Ex-Demonstrator, showroom model.
 
Purchase would be CSS Framework RM6244 –
Purchase of Standard and Specialist Vehicles and in direct
replacement for the existing vehicle AY 18 DNJ.
 
The total cost of the new sweeper is
£58,497.00 + VAT + £497 Delivery.

Decision

To purchase a Scarab MC110 Ex-Demonstrator
showroom model.
 
Reason:
The decision represents the best value for
money option.
