Purpose

Arts and Culture require a supplier to provide
ticketing software/platform so that our customers can book tickets
to shows and performances.
 
CCS Tender guidelines were used to identify
suitable frameworks and from these searches and knowledge of the
current software available, a full specification of requirements
was put together. The decision was
taken to search for the requirements through
G-Cloud13/CCS Framework RM1557.13
 
TicketSolve were the only provider who could
supply Ipswich Borough with a full cloud-based software package,
that fitted the required specification.
 
The council will enter into a maximum 4 year
contract from the date of award (3 year contract with the option of
a one year extension).
 
The cost will be £120,000 at the rates
below.
 
1.5% on the first £600,000 of gross
sales
1% on gross sales from £600,000 to
£1.2m
0.75% on gross sales from £1.2m to
£2.4m
0.5% on any gross sales over £2.4m
 
There will be a covering payment gateway fees
at £22 per month (first 350 transactions) with everything
above and over that limit at 10p per transaction. To be invoiced
monthly by client to supplier.

Decision

To award the contract to TicketSolve.
 
Reason:
The system meets all the specified
requirements, and the functionality will enable more customer
benefits.
