Purpose

On 06/08/19 the Council’s Executive
approved the award of an ICT contract to Civica, which supports the
delivery of Housing repairs, maintenance, and asset management.
 
On 06/10/22, the Council decided to make use
of the extension allowed in the contract by extending the contract
by one year, in line with the contract conditions.
 
The Council have now decided to exercise the
option to extend the contract by a further one-year period. The
value of this contract extension is £123,399.78. The contract
will now end on 31st August 2024.
 
Alternative options
considered and why rejected.
The option to re-tender the contract at this
time was considered but rejected as a more fundamental review of
ICT is being considered across the Council and the extension
provides a good option, whilst this work is being undertaken.

Reason:
To continue to support the delivery of Housing
repairs, maintenance and assessment management. This provides a
good option whilst the ICT review takes place.
