Purpose

The Council owns and operates a number of
public car parks in Ipswich, including The Council owns and

Street Car Park, Bond Street, Ipswich IP4 1JE.
 
We need to extend the closure for part of Bond
Street car park for a extra 3 days after carrying out repair works,
to fill in pot holes, within the car park and to allow the tarmac
to dry. This will be the closure of 10 bays.
 
The main alternative would be to not part
close the car park and allow for the maintenance works to take
place.

Decision

To utilise the powers within the Ipswich
Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2022 to extend
the part close Bond Street Car Park (10
bays) from Monday 14 August 2023, to include on Tuesday 15 August
to Thursday 17 August 2023.
 
Reason:
To allow for repair works.
