Purpose

IP City Centre requires design and
installation of new Heating, Cooling and Ventilation systems. An
open tender procurement process, for a M&E Consultant, was
issued through the Suffolk e-sourcing system.
 
Five tenders were received and evaluated on
Quality and Price. The quality was evaluated internally at IBC with
the pricing evaluated by an external Consultant (Hyams).
 
The evaluation selected Lakes Join Grandly as
the winning tender for the value of £18,430.00 (excl. VAT).
Due to unforeseen circumstances Lakes Join Grandly withdrew their
tender bid.
 
Due to the time lapse all bidders were given
the opportunity to re bid. The remaining bidders confirmed their
price and using the evaluation scores Johns Slater and Haward were selected as the winning tender for the
value of £29,450.00 (excl. VAT).
 
The works will be funded from existing capital
programme budgets.

Decision

To award the contract to Johns Slater and
Haward.
 
Reason:
To enable the consultancy services work to be
undertaken.
