Purpose

Following a notification from the Police of an
arrest for a serious offence a combined hackney carriage and
private hire driver’s licence was revoked with immediate
effect on the grounds of public safety.
 
No alternative options were considered.

Decision

To revoke the Combined Hackney Carriage and
Private Hire Licence with immediate effect.
