Purpose

Eastern Gateway is a commercial enterprise
park still under development, it was purchased by the Council in
2014 from British Sugar. The Council has an agreement to carry out
a long-term monitoring programme.
 
The Council has completed a successful ITQ via
Suffolk e-sourcing system, to procure a contractor to carry out
monthly monitoring over a 4-year period. The most economically
advantageous tender was received for the value of £44,849.15
(excluding VAT).
 
Contract Value will be £47,091.61
providing a 5% contingency for the duration of the contract.
 
The budget for these works is in place and
will coming out allocated capital funds.

Decision

To award the contract to the most economically
advantageous tenderer.
 
Reason:
To enable the commencement of long-term
monitoring at Eastern Gateway.
