Purpose

Sherrington Road
Rec Play Area has been identified in the Play Area Investment and
Action Plan to be redeveloped to enable inclusive play.
 
To enable the
development of the play area the existing play equipment needs to
be removed and the new safety surfacing installed.

Decision

Sherrington Rd Rec
Play Area will be temporarily closed to enable the creation of a
new play area as part of the Play Area Strategy 2022 – 2027.
The play area construction is expected to be completed by early
November 2024.
