Purpose

Ipswich Borough
Council has a requirement to use Pest Control Services in
Maintenance and Contracts, Major Capital schemes, Housing and other areas.
 
A procurement
exercise was undertaken via Suffolk Sourcing (IBC/17561) to obtain
these services.
 
The successful
Supplier was Millenium Pest Control who submitted the most
economically advantageous tender and the lowest bid.
 
This is a call -off
contract so there is no commitment to the service frequency or
value. A contract award value of £140,000 for a 24-month
contract period with the option to extend for a further 12 months
has been awarded to enable services to be delivered as required.
The tender was evaluated on 60% Price and 40% quality.

Decision

To award the contract to the most economically
advantageous tenderer, Millenium Pest Control.
 
Reason: To enable the provision of pest
control services as required.
