Purpose

A combined hackney carriage/private hire
driver failed to provide the Council with an up to date DBS
disclosure.
 
Numerous reminders have been sent with no
response received. As they have failed to comply with the licensing
requirements their licence has been suspended with immediate effect
in order to protect public safety.

Decision

To suspend a combined hackney carriage/private
hire driver’s licence with immefiate effect.
 
Reason:
The driver failed to update the Council with
an upto date DBS disclosure.
