place. • To work with local headteachers of nearby Islington
schools to provide support to the school and its families. •
To guarantee a place at a ‘good’ or
‘outstanding’ Islington school for all pupils displaced

in community schools and will ensure this is resourced
appropriately to meet statutory requirements. • To provide
early dedicated professional support for all pupils with Education,
Health, and Care plans to support all aspects of transition. The
SEND team will work with individual children and their
parents/carers to support their transition, and help them settle
into their new school, including identifying a tailored list of

all parents with the cost of purchasing a new uniform for their
children in their new school.
